Exposition - 100 ans de machines à coudre

Details

“1872-1972… 100 YEARS AND MORE OF SEWING MACHINES. »Come in large numbers, with your family, friends and acquaintances, talk about it around you, the volunteers will welcome you with pleasure. Since 2016, the volunteers of the association have cleaned, put back in operation the oldest of the XIXth century-beginning of the XXth and are happy to present them to you. Even if the Living Space of the Hosiery is not a sewing machine museum, the machines also have a history and deserve to be exhibited. In 2020, with the Covid 19 pandemic, the sewing machine is once again relevant for the manufacture of protective masks, both by home seamstresses and by textile companies. From September 1, the exhibition is visible every Thursday from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and weekends by reservation only. The health pass is compulsory.
